About the EventMore Than Just Bellydance

Cairo am Rhein is a lovingly curated international oriental dance festival in Bonn – for everyone who wants to grow, learn from authentic and respected teachers, feel inspired, and share their art with others.

In a warm and supportive atmosphere, dancers come together to learn, grow, and dance. The heart of the weekend is a 2 day series of workshops taught by experienced teachers who generously share their knowledge – with a focus on technique, expression, and personal style.

On Saturday evening we will have a gala show, where some of you and all the teachers will be performing. In a glamorous and joyful atmosphere, we’ll celebrate our shared love for Oriental dance – featuring selected performances by dancers from the community who wish to share their art on our stage. This stage is all about respect for the art, artistic expression, and mutual inspiration.

Cairo am Rhein invites you to refine your dance, gather new impulses, and connect with fellow bellydance lovers on a personal level. Whether you’re a beginner, advanced dancer, or teacher – you are welcome here.
